一、課程簡介:
Course Description
This course is designed to provide the advanced research knowledge to generate and disseminate nursing knowledge which can be used to develop the nursing theory and inform the nursing practice. The contents include: conceptualizing nursing research, designing nursing studies, measuring phenomena of interest to the nursing profession, analyzing and interpreting research findings, and communicating about and critically evaluating proposed or completed nursing research.
Course Objectives
In meeting the objectives of this course, the student will be able:
1. to specify conceptual frameworks for nursing studies;
2. to understand the interaction among nursing theory, nursing practice and nursing research;
3. to synthesize and analyze the qualitative and quantitative research design;
4. to conduct the research methods including sampling, data production, construct of instrument, data analysis and data interpretation;
5. to evaluate and criticize research proposal and papers;
6. to understand how to write a research proposal or thesis.
